The soundtrack of the Netflix animation "KPop Demon Hunters" has been recognized as the world's second-most streamed album of the year on Spotify, according to the platform's annual Wrapped 2025 report released on Wednesday (U.S. time).
The original soundtrack secured the second position in Spotify's Top 10 Albums Globally list, surpassing releases from prominent U.S. pop artists, including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar.
The lead track "Golden" achieved seventh place in the global Top 10 Songs ranking, while "APT.," a collaboration between BLACKPINK's Rose and Bruno Mars, ranked third in the same category.
In the United States, the "KPop Demon Hunters" soundtrack was the fourth-most popular album, with "Golden" positioned sixth among songs.
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny topped this year's global album chart with "Debi Tirar Mas Fotos," and his 2022 album, "Un Verano Sin Ti," made a return to the list at No. 10, highlighting his sustained global popularity.
Bad Bunny also led Spotify's list of most streamed artists, with Taylor Swift following in second place.
Spotify reported that the most played song worldwide in 2025 was "Die With A Smile," a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
