NEW YORK — The singing trio behind HUNTR/X, the fictional music group featured in the hugely popular animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” is set to perform live for the first time on October 7 on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The show announced on Monday that Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform their hit song “Golden” from the film, which marked Netflix's first No. 1 box-office title in its 18-year history. The soundtrack of the film has also achieved chart-topping success.
In addition to their performance, the trio will join Fallon for interviews. Their appearance will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day. Jennifer Lopez is also scheduled to appear as a guest.
Since its release 14 weeks ago, the film has remained a staple on Netflix's weekly Top 10 list, inspiring fans to create art, covers, cosplay, and choreography in response to its success.
