It follows biotechnology professor Se-jeong and a group of survivors who battle to escape a quarantined building amid a virus outbreak.</p><p class="editor-p">Cast includes Koo Kyo-hwan as a lone-wolf researcher who controls zombies, with Ji Chang-wook and Kim Shin-rok as survivors grappling with the threats, alongside Jun Ji-hyun.</p><p class="editor-p">It premiered in the Midnight Screenings section at Cannes last month.</p><p class="editor-p">On the weekend chart, the American sci-fi horror film Backrooms ranked No. 2 with 303,264 admissions, followed by the musical Michael with 136,682 admissions, according to the data.</p><input type="hidden" name="ktViewTypeBody" value="NORMAL"></p>

개봉 10일째인 토요일에 300만 관객 돌파에 성공했고, 이는 2026년작 메가히트작인 "The King's Warden"이 14일 만에 도달한 것보다 빠른 속도다.
"Colony"는 연출가 연상호의 최신 좀비 스릴러로, 이전 작품으로는 "부산행"이 있다. 영화는 바이러스 발발로 격리된 건물에서 생존자들이 탈출을 시도하는 모노드로 구성된 이야기를 다룬다. 생존자들 중에는 좀비를 다루는 고독한 연구원을 연기한 구교환, 주연 배우인 지창욱과 김신록이 등장한다.
