<p class="editor-p">The K-pop group BTS drew 840,000 fans across 15 performances in five North American cities as part of its world tour, according to the group's agency.</p>
<p class="editor-p">The seven-member act staged sold-out shows in Tampa, El Paso, Stanford and Las Vegas in the United States, as well as Mexico City, as part of the "Arirang" world tour, the agency said.</p>
<p class="editor-p">Extra shows were added in Tampa, Stanford and Las Vegas due to high demand, all of which sold out.</p>
<p class="editor-p">The tour marks the group's return from a near four-year hiatus while members completed South Korea's mandatory military service, with the first leg beginning last month.</p>
<p class="editor-p">Global reporting indicated BTS grossed $76.2 million and sold 417,000 tickets across eight shows in Goyang, Tokyo, Tampa and other locations in April, making it the highest-grossing tour of the month.</p>
<p class="editor-p">The next world tour performance is scheduled for June 12-13 in Busan, South Korea.</p>

<p>해당 7인조 그룹은 미국의 탬파, 엘패소, 스탠퍼드, 라스베이거스에서의 매진 공연과 멕시코시티 공연을 포함해 ‘아리랑’ 월드 투어의 일환으로 공연을 펼쳤으며, 추가로 수요가 많아 탬파, 스탠퍼드, 라스베이거스에서 보충 공연을 개최했고 모두 매진됐다.</p>
<p>BTS는 남은 약 4년간의 공백 기간 동안 멤버들이 남성의 병역 의무를 이행한 뒤 comeback를 준비하며 월드 투어를 시작했다.</p>
<p>미국 기반 빌보드는 BTS가 4월 고양, 일본 도쿄, 탬파에서 열린 8개 공연에서 총 7620만 달러를 벌고 41만 7천 장의 티켓을 팔아 지난 달 최대 수익을 거둔 투어로 집계됐다고 보도했다.</p>
<p>BTS의 다음 월드 투어 공연은 남동부 포구 도시 부산에서 6월 12일-13일 열릴 예정이다.</p>
