Tickets for the 41 concerts across North America and Europe sold out rapidly after going on sale Saturday, according to the group’s management, reflecting strong global demand for their return.
The "Arirang" tour is planned to be the largest in K-pop history, kicking off on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex near Seoul. It will span 34 cities and 79 shows, featuring a 360-degree stage designed to create a more immersive experience for fans, according to the touring team.
The North American leg is scheduled to begin April 25 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The group will perform in 12 cities across North America before moving to Europe for 10 shows in five cities.
Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows were scheduled in Tampa, Stanford and Las Vegas, the management said.
Ahead of the world tour, the group will release its fifth studio album, "Arirang," on March 20. The 14-track record marks its first since "Proof" in June 2022 and its first release since all members completed mandatory military service.
In celebration of the album, BTS is set to hold a comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on March 21.

투어는 K팝 역사상 최대 규모가 될 것으로 예상되며, 4월 9일 서울 인근의 고양종합운동장에서 시작해 34개 도시에서 79회 공연으로 이어지고, 팬들에게 몰입감을 주는 360도 무대 설계를 도입한다.
북미 일정은 4월 25일 플로리다주 탬파의 레이몬드 제임스 스타디움에서 시작되며, 북미 12개 도시를 거친 뒤 유럽으로 이어져 5개 도시에서 10회의 공연이 펼쳐진다. 수요가 급증해 탬파, 스탠포드, 라스베이거스에서 추가 공연이 편성됐다.
월드 투어를 앞두고 그룹은 3월 20일 다섯 번째 스튜디오 앨범 'Arirang'을 발표한다. 14곡으로 구성된 이 음반은 2022년 6월 발표된 'Proof' 이후 처음이자, 모든 구성원이 병역 의무를 마친 뒤 처음 발표하는 음악이다.
앨범 발매를 기념해 서울 광화문 광장에서 3월 21일 컴백 콘서트를 개최할 예정이다.
