The prosecution announced on Wednesday that charges against a Chinese woman for attempting to trespass on the home of BTS member Jungkook have been dropped.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors Office stated that the decision to drop the charges on September 10 was made because the woman, who is in her 30s, did not actually trespass on the K-pop star's property and posed a low risk of reoffending, as she has returned to her home country.
The woman was accused of visiting Jungkook's residence in Seoul's Yongsan Ward in the late hours of June 11, coinciding with the day he was discharged from military service, and she allegedly pushed the keypad door lock multiple times.
Police responded to a call regarding the incident and apprehended her at the scene. The woman reportedly informed police that she had traveled to Korea specifically to see Jungkook following his discharge.

이 여성은 6월 11일, 정국이 군 복무를 마친 날 밤늦게 서울 용산구의 정국 자택을 방문해 도어 잠금장치를 여러 차례 누른 혐의를 받고 있다.
경찰은 신고를 받고 출동해 현장에서 그녀를 체포했다.
이 여성은 경찰에게 정국의 제대를 보러 한국에 왔다고 진술한 것으로 알려졌다.
