On Thursday, LG reported its first-quarter net profit of 608.5 billion won ($436.8 million), reflecting a 65.2 percent increase compared to the same period a year earlier.
The company indicated in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the January-March period rose by 51 percent year-on-year to 638 billion won.
Sales for the quarter also saw a significant increase, rising 19.2 percent to reach 1.93 trillion won.
LG는 목요일 1분기 순익이 6,085억 원(4억 3,680만 달러)으로, 지난해 같은 기간 대비 65.2% 증가했다고 발표했다.
회사 측은 규제 공시에서 1월부터 3월까지의 운영 이익이 전년 대비 51% 증가한 6,380억 원에 이르렀다고 전했다.
판매액은 19.2% 증가하여 1조 9,300억 원을 기록했다.
