BTS, NewJeans fandoms clash over Hybe-Min Hee-jin conflict

The conflict between Hybe and former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin is expanding into a broader dispute between the fandoms of BTS and NewJeans, as BTS's fanbase, Army, voices opposition to Min potentially returning. A group representing the BTS Army community released a statement on Monday, expressing their unified stance against Min's reinstatement as the CEO of Ador, citing concerns about her past actions and intentions. Meanwhile, NewJeans and their fanbase, Bunnies, have been actively advocating for Min's reinstatement, arguing that her dismissal has caused delays in the production of the group's upcoming album and world tour preparations. The fanbase also expressed concerns about potential damage to NewJeans' musical style due to the change in leadership. Despite Ador appointing a new CEO and offering Min a continued role as the producer of NewJeans, she rejected the offer and filed for an injunction seeking reinstatement as a director at Ador after her contract ends. The controversy has also sparked speculation and interpretations of social media posts by BTS member Jungkook, which were later clarified by Hybe as unrelated to the dispute. Overall, the conflict has evolved into a complex situation involving the interests and concerns of multiple parties, including the two music groups and their respective fanbases, as well as the management company, Hybe.
