Ryu Hae-ran has secured her third career LPGA title in Utah, achieving a wire-to-wire victory. She shot a bogey-free final round of eight-under 64 to win the inaugural Black Desert Championship at the Black Desert Golf Course in Ivins, Utah, with a total score of 26-under 262.
Ryu's performance included six birdies and an eagle, allowing her to finish five strokes ahead of competitors Esther Henseleit from Germany and Yin Ruoning from China. This victory marks a significant rebound for Ryu, who previously tied for sixth place at the Chevron Championship after leading for 54 holes.
As the winner, Ryu received a check for $450,000. She is now the third South Korean player to win on the tour this season, joining fellow players Kim A-lim and Kim Hyo-joo. Ryu, who was named the 2023 Rookie of the Year, has achieved a victory in each of her first three seasons on the LPGA Tour and is recognized as the 23rd South Korean player with at least three LPGA titles.
Additionally, Ryu became the second player this year to achieve a wire-to-wire victory in the LPGA and marked her second inaugural tournament win, following her success at the FM Championship last September.

류는 우승 상금 45만 달러를 받았으며, 이번 시즌 투어에서 김아림, 김효주와 함께 세 번째 한국인 우승자로 이름을 올렸다.
2023 루키 오브 더 이어인 류는 LPGA 투어에서 첫 세 시즌 모두에서 승리를 기록했으며, 3개 이상의 LPGA 타이틀을 보유한 23번째 한국 선수가 되었다.
류는 올해 LPGA에서 wire-to-wire 우승을 달성한 두 번째 선수이며, 지난해 9월 FM 챔피언십에 이어 첫 대회에서 두 번째로 우승을 차지한 것이다.
