Underdog boy bands take on ambitious survival journey

Seven determined boy bands are set to engage in a competitive showdown on Mnet's survival program "Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace." The participating groups include The New Six, 8Turn, Oneus, Younite, Cravity, Tempest, and the project team The Crew One, comprising the boy groups ATBO and Just B., with the show hosted by Taemin from SHINee. The pressure to excel beyond their previous performances in Season 1 was felt by the contestants, but they channeled this into a renewed passion for delivering exceptional live shows, emphasizing the essence of being singers. Among the competitors, Oneus stands out as the most seasoned group, having debuted in 2019 and returning for another shot at the title after their appearance in the previous season. Each group brings a unique identity and approach to the competition, with Cravity aiming to captivate audiences with their blend of creativity and gravity, while Younite's Eunsang explores personal growth and self-discovery. The show's producers aim to showcase the diverse talents of K-pop artists to a global audience, with a new format this season highlighting individual strengths through ace competitions, sparking anticipation for intense yet supportive rivalries among the participants.
