Porsche Korea has appointed Mathias Busse as its new CEO and Representative Director, replacing Holger Gerrmann. With over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Busse has previously served as the CEO of Porsche Taiwan Motors and Porsche Retail Hamburg GmbH. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to leverage his leadership skills and international experience in the Korean market. Detlev von Platen from Porsche AG expressed gratitude for Busse's expertise and acknowledged Gerrmann's contributions to Porsche Korea's growth over the past five years. Under Gerrmann's leadership, Porsche Korea achieved milestones such as introducing the all-electric Taycan and doubling its sales volume. Gerrmann also oversaw the expansion of Porsche's network in Korea, including the launch of new service centers and retail concepts. Now, Gerrmann will lead Porsche Switzerland AG as CEO, while Busse's appointment is expected to drive further growth and community engagement for Porsche Korea in its 76th year.
