<p>With one matchday left in the group stage of the FIFA World Cup, Korea are clinging to the last spot to reach the knockout phase. <p>Korea dropped a spot in the third-place standings after Senegal’s win moved them to fifth in Group I. Senegal joined Sweden, Ecuador, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Paraguay as third-place qualifiers for the round of 32. Spain’s victory over Uruguay provided some relief for Korea, as Uruguay’s result could have worsened Korea’s position, while Cape Verde finished second in Group H with three points.</p>
<p>In Group G, Egypt and Iran drew, while Belgium topped the group. Iran finished third among third-place teams with three points and a goal difference of zero. Croatia and Algeria, both finishing Group play, each have three points; Croatia currently sit ahead of Korea on goal difference and goals scored, while Algeria trail with a poorer goal difference.</p>
<p>DR Congo could still emerge if they win their final Group K match against Uzbekistan, potentially surpassing Korea in the standings. Korea returned to their base in Zapopan after the South Africa match and rested on Friday. If they advance to the round of 32, Korea will meet Belgium in Seattle on Wednesday (Thursday in Korea).</p>

<p>금요일 한국은 3위 국가 순위에서 6위였으나, 세네갈이 이라크를 5-0으로 완파하여 3위로 올라서면서 한 계단 떨어졌다. 세네갈은 득점 차 +2를 기록했다.</p>

<p>한국 팀은 남아프리카와의 경기를 끝내고 Zapopan의 기지 캠프에 돌아와 금요일에 휴식을 취했다.</p>
<p>32강에 진출하면 한국은 G 그룹 우승국 벨기에를 시애틀 스타디움에서 수요일 오후 1시(한국 시간 목요일 새벽 5시) 경기에 맞이하게 된다.</p>
