Japan advanced to the Women’s Asian Cup final with a 4-1 semifinal win over South Korea in Sydney, with early goals from Riko Ueki and Maika Hamano helping to set the tone.
The victory kept alive Japan’s bid to defend the title as Asia’s top-ranked team, with a final against Australia scheduled for Saturday in Sydney.
