By comparison, a fan concert held four months earlier at the same venue carried prices of 154,000 won for M&G and 110,000 won for GA, illustrating a sharp jump in a short period.
Across broader stalwarts, prices have also climbed. For BTS' announced “ARIRANG” tour, ground seats were listed at 260,000 won and GA at 198,000 won, with the shows selling out quickly amid expectations surrounding the group’s return after a hiatus. BLACKPINK’s full-group tour faced scrutiny as top-tier seats exceeded 270,000 won, while Jennie’s solo performances ranged from about 143,000 to 220,000 won for roughly 70 minutes of stage time.
Price dynamics extend beyond a handful of top acts. Doja Cat’s December concert in Korea offered a multi-tier structure, with P seats at 250,000 won, R 220,000 won, S 178,000 won, A 132,000 won, and B 99,000 won, highlighting a broader spread that provides lower-entry options alongside premium tiers.
Industry observers point to rising costs as a factor in higher pricing. Increases in venue rental, production expenses, stage construction, labor fees, and artist guarantees have all contributed to higher budgets since the pandemic.
