Korean space startup Innospace Co. announced on Saturday that its first commercial orbit launch has been postponed due to technical issues.
The Hanbit-Nano rocket was set to launch from the Alcantara Space Center in Brazil earlier that day, but the launch has been delayed. Initially, Innospace had planned to conduct the launch on Wednesday.
The company stated that it will work with the Brazilian Air Force to reschedule the liftoff.
The Hanbit-Nano vehicle is designed to carry a payload of eight items, including five satellites, which will be deployed into a low orbit at an altitude of 300 kilometers.
This two-stage vehicle features a 25-ton thrust hybrid engine for its first stage, while the second stage is powered by a liquid methane and oxygen engine.
If the launch is successful, Innospace will become the first private South Korean company to place a customer satellite into orbit.

한빛-나노 로켓은 이날 브라질 알칸타라 우주 센터에서 발사될 예정이었지만, 발사가 지연되었다. 이노스페이스는 원래 수요일에 발사를 목표로 했다.
이 스타트업은 브라질 공군과 협력하여 발사 일정을 재조정할 것이라고 말했다.
한빛-나노 차량은 다섯 개의 위성을 포함한 총 여덟 개의 화물을 실어 300킬로미터 저궤도로 배치할 예정이다.
이 차량은 1단계에서 25톤 추력 하이브리드 엔진을 사용하고, 2단계는 액체 메탄과 산소 엔진으로 지원된다.
성공할 경우, 이노스페이스는 한국의 첫 민간 기업으로 고객 위성을 궤도로 배치하는 성과를 거두게 된다.
