During the protest, a participant struck Han on the head with a protest placard, leading to immediate intervention by security personnel. Reports indicate that Han did not sustain serious injuries.
Despite the strong opposition and a standoff that lasted approximately 20 minutes, Han managed to pay his respects with a silent tribute at the cemetery's entrance before departing the site. His candidacy was officially announced at the National Assembly.
