Newsis</p></div><p>Ki Sung-yueng will be part of a 24-player domestic squad to face Manchester City in a friendly next month, as part of the Coupang Play Series.</p><p>The Korea Professional Football League (K League) announced the Team K League lineup, which will play Manchester City at 8 p.m. on Aug. 5 at Seoul World Cup Stadium. Manchester City will also play Atletico Madrid at the same venue on Aug. 9 as part of the series.</p><p>Team K League is led by head coach Chung Jung-yong, with assistant Chung Kyung-ho and the league’s technical study group assisting. Ten of the 12 K League 1 clubs will contribute two players each, with FC Seoul providing three participants and Jeju United sending one player to the capital.</p><p>The squad composition includes five forwards, nine midfielders, eight defenders, and two goalkeepers.</p><p>Ki Sung-yueng, previously a Premier League player and now with Pohang Steelers, will feature in midfield alongside Matheus Oliveira (FC Anyang) and Kim Dae-won (Gangwon FC), among others.</p><p>The forward line includes three foreign players—Jefferson Galego (Bucheon 1995), Stefan Mugosa (Incheon United), and Yago Cariello (Ulsan Hyundai FC)—as well as two South Korean internationals, Lee Dong-gyeong (Ulsan) and Lee Seung-woo (Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors).</p><p>Defenders include FC Seoul’s Yazan Al-Arab, along with South Korean World Cup team members Lee Gi-hyuk (Gangwon FC) and Kim Moon-hwan (Daejeon Hana Citizen).</p><p>The goalkeepers are Gu Sung-yun (FC Seoul) and Song Bum-keun (Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors).</p>
