Courtesy of Defense Acquisition Program Administration</p></div></div><p class="editor-p">Korea will participate in a large-scale international defense and security exhibition in Paris this week to promote exports of homegrown arms products, the state arms procurement agency said Monday.</p><p class="editor-p">Eurosatory 2026, slated to run from Tuesday to Friday in France, will be attended by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), its affiliate research institute and the Korea Defense Industry Association.</p><p class="editor-p">The biennial event is the world's largest land arms exhibition, attended by some 2,000 companies and bringing together a delegation from over 90 countries and 76,000 visitors.</p><p class="editor-p">This year, the Korean booth will showcase real-life arms products from 12 small and medium-sized companies for potential overseas buyers.</p><p class="editor-p">Separately, 21 Korean defense firms, including Hanwha Aerospace and LIG Defense & Aerospace, along with defense component manufacturers, will display a range of weapons systems near the main booth.</p><p class="editor-p">During the exhibition, DAPA is also expected to arrange a "Korea Day" event featuring quizzes on weapons systems to lure participation.</p><p class="editor-p">DAPA said it will continue to support the entry of domestic defense firms into foreign markets, with plans to participate in similar defense exhibitions in Poland and the United States later this year.</p>

유로사토리 2026은 프랑스에서 화요일부터 금요일까지 열리며, 방사청과 산하 연구기관, 한국방산협회가 참가한다.
매년 열리는 이 2년 주기의 행사로 세계 최대의 육군 무기 전시회로 알려져 있으며, 약 2,000개 기업이 참가하고 90여 개국의 대표단과 6만 여 명의 방문객이 모인다.
올해 한국관은 12개 중소기업의 실제 무기 제품을 해외 바이어 후보들에게 선보일 예정이다.
또한 한화에어로스페이스, LIG 방산 등 21개 한국 방산기업과 방산 부품 제조업체들이 주요 부스 인근에서 다양한 무기 시스템을 전시한다.
전시 기간 중에는 ‘코리아 데이’ 행사도 개최돼 무기 시스템 관련 퀴즈 등 참여를 유도할 계획이다.
방위사업청은 국내 방산기업의 해외 시장 진출을 지속 지원하겠다고 밝히며 올해 말 폴란드와 미국에서도 유사한 방산 전시회에 참여할 계획을 내놓았다.
