A Seoul-based sports agency announced it has signed its first international client, a teenage rhythmic gymnast from Cyprus.
The agency and the 17-year-old Vera Tugolukova reached a global management agreement, marking her as the first international athlete represented by the agency, which also lists Olympic speed skater Kim Min-sun, short track world champion Park Ji-won, and KLPGA Tour star Park Hyun-kyung among its clients.
Tugolukova was the youngest rhythmic gymnast to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, finishing 16th in the qualification round at age 15.
In 2024, she won a silver medal in ball and a bronze in ribbon at the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup. At the July 2025 World Cup in Milan, she earned bronze in ribbon, becoming the first rhythmic gymnast representing Cyprus to reach a World Cup podium.
She placed fifth in the all-around at a World Cup stop in Tashkent earlier this month, also qualifying for all apparatus finals and finishing fourth in the ribbon final.
Her coach is Elena Yurievna Nefedova, a veteran instructor who has trained multiple Olympic and world championship medalists and has previously worked with South Korean rhythmic gymnasts Son Yeon-jae and Shin Soo-ji.
The agency’s CEO stated that Tugolukova combines strong technical ability with advanced expression and has potential to contend for medals at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, with the signing aimed at supporting her performance development and expanding the agency’s global sports marketing presence.
서울 기반 스포츠 에이전시 넥스트 크리에이티브가 화요일 Cypriot(키프로스) 출신의 십대 리듬체조 선수를 첫 국제 클라이언트로 영입했다고 밝혔다. 회사는 17세의 베라 투골루코바와 글로벌 매니지먼트 계약을 체결했다고 전했으며, 투골루코바는 넥스트 크리에이티브가 대표하는 첫 국제 선수다. 해당 에이전시의 고객으로는 올림픽 스피드 스케이팅 선수 김민선, 쇼트트랙 월드 챔피언 박지원, KLPGA 투어 스타 박현경 등이 있다. 투골루코바는 파리 2024년 하계 올림픽에 15세의 최연소 리듬체조 선수로 출전해 예선에서 16위를 기록했다. 지난해 그녀는 유럽컵에서 볼 은메달, 리본 동메달을 획득한 바 있으며, 2025년 7월 밀라노에서 열린 국제체조연맹(WCF) 월드컵에서 리본으로 동메달을 차지해 키프로스 선수로서는 최초로 월드컵 시상대에 오른 선수로 기록됐다. 또한 이번 달 초 타슈켄트의 다른 월드컵 대회에서 개인 종합 5위에 오르는 성과를 냈고, 모든 기구 결승에 진출해 리본 결승에서 4위를 차지했다. 투골루코바의 지도에는 올림픽 및 세계선수권 메달리스트를 다수 배출해 온 베테랑 지도자인 엘레나 율리에브나 네페도바가 맡고 있으며, 네페도바는 한국의 전 리듬체조 선수 손예진과 신수지와도 함께 일한 바 있다. 넥스트 크리에이티브의 CEO 박은님은 “베라 투골루코바는 뛰어난 기술력과 나이를 뛰어넘는 표현력의 소유자인 선수다. 2028 로스앤젤레스 올림픽과 2032 브리즈번 올림픽에서 메달 경쟁력이 충분하다.”며 “이번 계약으로 그녀가 최상의 환경에서 경기력에 집중하고 글로벌 스포츠 마케팅 활동도 확장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
