A Japanese woman in her 50s has been booked on suspicion of attempting to break into the home of BTS member Jung Kook, according to police reports released on Monday.
The woman is suspected of making multiple attempts to open the keypad door lock of Jung Kook's residence in Seoul's Yongsan Ward between November 12 and 14. She was booked last week on charges of attempted housebreaking and stalking, as stated by the Yongsan police station.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation; however, the suspect has not yet been questioned due to her residing overseas.
In a related incident, a Korean woman in her 40s was referred to prosecution on charges of housebreaking and stalking after she illegally entered the parking lot of Jung Kook's home in August.
Additionally, a Chinese woman in her 30s was apprehended while attempting to break into his home in June, but prosecutors opted not to file charges against her.

경찰에 따르면, 일본인 여성(50대)이 정국의 자택에 침입하려 했다는 혐의로 구속됐다.
이 여성은 11월 12일부터 14일 사이 서울 용산구에 있는 정국의 자택의 키패드 도어 잠금을 열려고 여러 차례 시도한 것으로 의심되며, 용산경찰서에 의해 주거침입과 스토킹 혐의로 구속됐다.
수사가 진행 중이지만, suspect는 해외에 거주하고 있어 아직 조사를 받지 않았다고 경찰은 전했다.
한편, 지난 8월에도 40대 한국 여성이 정국의 자택 주차장에 무단 침입한 혐의로 검찰에 송치된 바 있다.
또한, 30대 중국인 여성은 6월에 정국의 자택에 침입하려다 현장에서 적발되었지만, 검찰은 그녀에 대한 기소를 결정하지 않았다.
