Two Korean players have secured their PGA Tour cards for the upcoming season after successful performances on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025.
Kim Seong-hyeon and Lee Seung-taek both finished in the top 20 of the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, following the conclusion of the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship held in French Lick, Indiana, on Sunday.
Kim tied for 12th place, while Lee finished tied for 24th in the tournament.
Kim, who first competed on the PGA Tour in 2023 but lost his membership the following year, had already secured his return to the main tour. He concluded the Korn Ferry Tour season ranked eighth, bolstered by a victory at the AdventHealth Championship in May and two runner-up finishes.
Lee finished 13th in the Korn Ferry Tour rankings and is among six players who made the top 20 without securing a victory this season. He achieved six top-10 finishes, including a playoff loss to Neal Shipley at the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April. Lee also made the second most cuts on the Korn Ferry Tour this year, with 21, just one behind the leader.
Prior to joining the Korn Ferry Tour, Lee competed for eight years on the Korea PGA Tour and earned his membership through the 2024 PGA Tour Q-School, finishing fifth on the KPGA Tour Player of the Year points list.
Lee is noted as the first Korean player to qualify for the PGA Tour via the KPGA route.
Expressing his excitement, Lee stated, "I'm so happy to make it to the PGA Tour. It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I can't describe how excited I am. But I will enjoy this only for today and I will start preparing for the new season on the PGA Tour."
