The NC Dinos announced on Thursday that they will complete the remainder of the current Korean baseball season at a temporary venue due to safety concerns at their original ballpark, following a tragic incident in March.
The team will relocate to Ulsan Munsu Baseball Stadium in Ulsan, located approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Their first home game at this new location is scheduled for May 16 against the Kiwoom Heroes.
The Dinos, who are based in Changwon, about 70 kilometers southwest of Ulsan, have not played at Changwon NC Park since March 29. On that date, a female fan was fatally injured when a louver panel fell from the Dinos' office above a concession stand during a game against the LG Twins.
In response to the incident, officials from the Dinos and the municipal government of Changwon initiated extensive safety inspections at the ballpark, which opened in 2019. However, the club, the city, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport have been unable to reach an agreement on a timeline for the stadium's reopening.

다이노스는 서울에서 약 300킬로미터 남동쪽에 위치한 울산 문수 야구장이 이번 KBO 시즌의 홈구장이 될 것이라고 밝혔다.
첫 홈 경기는 5월 16일 키움 히어로즈와의 경기로 예정되어 있다.
다이노스는 울산에서 약 70킬로미터 서남쪽에 위치한 창원에 본거지를 두고 있으며, 창원 NC 파크에서는 3월 29일 이후 경기를 치르지 않았다.
그 날 LG 트윈스와의 경기 중, 한 여성 팬이 매점 위에 위치한 다이노스 사무실의 창문에서 떨어진 루버 패널에 맞아 두 날 후 머리 부상을 입고 사망하였다.
다이노스와 창원시 관계자들은 2019년에 개장한 구장에서 광범위한 안전 점검을 착수하였으나, 구장 재개 일정에 대해 합의하지 못해 어려움을 겪고 있다.
