The Korean football league announced on Wednesday that it will consider initiating disciplinary proceedings against a coach following an incident involving a player during a match. The Korea Professional Football League (K League) is currently reviewing the events that took place during a K League 1 match between Gwangju FC and Gimcheon Sangmu FC at Gwangju World Cup Stadium on Monday, which coincided with Children's Day.
During the match, as players were leaving the field at halftime, Gwangju FC head coach Lee Jung-hyo reportedly charged off the bench and yelled at player Oh Hu-seong to approach him. Gwangju FC captain Lee Kang-hyun attempted to intervene, but the coach pushed him aside and confronted Oh directly. Coach Lee allegedly grabbed Oh by the left arm, pointed to a spot on the field to address a previous mistake, and then pushed him with both hands. The two players proceeded to the locker room without acknowledging each other.
Despite the on-field confrontation, Oh scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute, contributing to Gwangju's 1-0 victory. Following the match, Coach Lee was seen embracing Oh, although he faced criticism for his earlier behavior.

전반 종료 후 선수들이 필드를 나서려 할 때, 이 감독은 벤치에서 뛰쳐나와 오 선수에게 오라고 소리쳤다. 광주 FC의 주장 이강현이 코치를 제지하려 했지만, 감독은 그를 밀쳐내고 오 선수에게로 달려갔다.
이 감독은 화가 나서 오 선수의 왼쪽 팔을 잡고 필드의 한 부분을 가리키며 미드필더에게 앞서의 실수를 상기시킨 뒤, 두 손으로 오 선수를 밀쳤다. 두 선수는 서로를 보지 않고 라커룸으로 향했다.
오 선수는 15분에 골을 넣었고, 광주는 1-0으로 승리를 거두었다. 경기 후 이 감독은 오 선수를 포옹했다.
