Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung is leading his People Power Party (PPP) rival Kim Moon-soo, with 49.2 percent support compared to Kim's 36.8 percent, according to a survey released on Wednesday.
The Realmeter survey, which included responses from 1,003 adults conducted on Monday and Tuesday, showed Lee Jun-seok of the minor Reform Party in third place with 10.3 percent support.
In a hypothetical two-way contest, DPK's Lee received 52.3 percent, while Kim garnered 41.7 percent. In another scenario against Lee Jun-seok, Lee Jae-myung led with 50.6 percent compared to 36.7 percent for the Reform Party candidate.
The survey has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level. This survey is considered the last indicator of voter sentiment before election day, as new opinion polls will be prohibited thereafter.
