They hold a one-stroke lead over Lindy Duncan from the United States. The final group will tee off at 11:36 a.m. on Sunday, which corresponds to 1:36 a.m. on Monday in Korean time.
Other notable performances include Choi Hye-jin, who is tied for sixth place with four other players at six-under, while Kim Hyo-joo and Lee So-mi are both at five-under par.
Ryu had previously shared the lead after the opening round with a bogey-free 65, but encountered difficulties with a 74 in the second round.
