<p>국방부에 따르면, 주한 국방부 장관이 월요일에 수도방위사령부 산하의 특수부대를 방문해 합동지휘부에서 지휘관들의 작전 업데이트를 보고받고 준비태세를 점검했다.</p>
<p>장관은 경호 구역의 경계 임무를 담당하는 보안 부대를 방문해 지휘통제센터의 작전 업데이트를 보고받았다고 국방부가 밝혔다.</p>
<p>방문 중에 장관은 지정된 특수 보안 구역의 주요 보안 시설을 점검하고 병력들에게 항상 ‘최상의’ 감시 태세를 유지할 것을 당부했다.</p>
<p>또한 공중 방어 위치를 방문해 공중 방어 작전에 대한 병력의 준비태세를 점검하고, 원칙적으로 모든 절차를 철저히 준수할 것을 요청했다.</p>
<p>드론과 무인 항공기의 위협이 증가하는 가운데 공중 방어 작전의 중요성이 커지고 있다며, 장관은 어떤 상황에서도 즉시 대응할 수 있는 ‘철통 같은’ 공중 방어 준비태세를 유지할 것을 당부했다.</p>
