대변인 김남준이 현직 임기를 다섯 달 남짓 남긴 상태에서 6월 지방선거 출마를 공식 결심하고 사임서를 제출했다.
그는 기자들에게 “6월 선거에서 인천 부평구를 출마하기로 결정했다”고 밝혔다.
김남준은 이재명 대통령의 측근으로 꼽히며, 이재명이 국회의원 시절 비서실장을 거쳐 경기도지사 재임 당시에는 대변인으로 활동했다.
Gyeyang-B 구역은 이재명이 국회의원 재임 시절에도 지역구였다.
김남준은 지난해 9월 강유정과 함께 제2대 대변인으로 임명되었다.
