South Korea's Lee Hae-in remained just inside the top 10 after the short program in the women's singles figure skating event at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, posting a season-best 70.07 points to place ninth in Milan.
Lee opened her program, set to "Sirens" by Christopher Tin, with a triple lutz-triple toe loop combination. She appeared to land both jumps cleanly but was charged with an under-rotation on the triple toe loop. She later cleanly completed a double axel and a triple flip, earning maximum levels on all spins and the step sequence.
Lee totaled 37.61 points in the technical element score and 32.46 points in the program component score.
The other South Korean competitor, Shin Ji-a, scored 65.66 points to finish 14th, nearly nine points off her season best. She fell on the second jump of her triple lutz-triple toe loop combination but recovered for a mostly clean program, though her layback spin earned Level 3.
Shin tallied 35.79 points in the technical element score and 30.87 in the program component score.
Japan's Ami Nakai led the short program with 78.71 points, followed by Kaori Sakamoto with 77.23 points, and Alysa Liu of the United States in third with 76.59 points. The free skate is scheduled for Thursday.
밀란 — 여성 싱글 피겨스케이팅 경기에서 단거리 프로그램에서 상위 10위 안에 들던 이혜인은 화요일 밀라노-코르티나 동계올림픽에서 9위에 올랐다. 이혜인은 밀라노 아이스 스케이팅 아레나에서 시즌 베스트인 70.07점을 기록하며 단거리에서 9위에 자리했다. 이혜인은 “Sirens”를 배경으로 한 프로그램을 트리플 루츠-트리플 토 루프 콤비네이션으로 시작했다. 점프를 모두 안정적으로 실전했으나 트리플 토 루프의 착지에서 언더로테이션이 판정됐다. 이후 더블 axel과 트리플 플립을 깨끗하게 성공했고, 모든 회전과 스텝 시퀀스에서 최대 레벨을 받았다. 테크니컬 엘리먼트 점수(TES)는 37.61점, 프로그램 구성 점수(PCS)는 32.46점으로 집계됐다. 또 다른 한국 선수인 신지아은 65.66점을 받아 시즌 베스트보다 약 9점 낮은 점수로 14위를 기록했다. 신지아는 트리플 루츠-트리플 토 루프 콤비네이션의 두 번째 점프를 시도하다 넘어졌으나 이후에는 대부분의 프로그램을 깔끔하게 수행했고, 마무리의 레이백 스핀에서 난이도 3으로 평가되어 최고난도 바로 아래 수준을 받았다. 테크니컬 엘리먼트 점수는 35.79점, PCS는 30.87점으로 합계됐다. 일본 선수인 아미 나카이는 단거리에서 78.71점으로 선두를 차지했고, 동료 가오리 사카모토가 77.23점으로 뒤를 이었다. 미국의 엘사 리우는 76.59점으로 3위에 위치했다. free skate(프리 스케이드는) 목요일로 예정돼 있다.
