Singer Park Bom of girl group 2NE1 has once again criticized YG Entertainment, alleging mistreatment and lack of support from the agency. A post shared on Thursday was deleted shortly after, but screenshots circulated online, raising concerns among fans regarding her mental and physical health.
Earlier in the week, Park made headlines by sharing a handwritten legal complaint that accused YG's founder and producer of withholding her earnings, citing an astonishing figure of approximately 4.5 quadrillion won.
Her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, denied any lawsuit had been filed and stated that her earnings from 2NE1 activities had been fully settled.
Despite the agency's clarification and assurance that Park was taking time off for treatment and recovery, she returned to social media less than a day later with new posts directed at YG.
In one post, she claimed, “They made my face look awful — just for laughs,” and noted, “Come to think of it, YG never paid for my surgeries. The few I did were out of my own pocket. I went on stage looking like an ordinary person.”
Park further alleged that she wrote all of YG's songs and described her experience as being confined, stating, “They locked me up like a one-eyed person and made me write everything,” adding, “Even when I sing my heart out, it’s never enough.”
Additionally, she claimed to have been offered over 4,000 advertisement deals, all of which were reassigned by the agency, a statement that puzzled many fans.
The posts were deleted shortly after they were published, but fans expressed concern over Park's erratic online behavior.
Park had previously halted her group activities in August due to health issues, with her agency stating that she was suspending all work to focus on treatment and recovery.
