Actress Kim You-jung has denied rumors regarding a romantic relationship with fellow actor Kim Do-hoon, which arose following the circulation of photos of the two in Vietnam.
An official from Kim’s agency, Awesome ENT, stated on Saturday that “the rumors are groundless.” Speculation began on social media and online communities after images of Kim and Kim Do-hoon in Nha Trang, Vietnam, were shared, leading to assumptions of a “love-stagram.”
The agency clarified that the actors were part of a group trip with director Lee Eung-bok and other staff members after completing filming for the drama “Dear X.” They emphasized that the outing was a collective event rather than a personal vacation.
“Dear X,” features Kim You-jung as Baek A-jin, a woman who dons a mask to escape hell and ascend to the top, exploring the lives of those affected by her ambitions. The Tving original series is co-directed by Lee Eung-bok, recognized for works such as “Sweet Home,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and “Descendants of the Sun,” alongside director Park So-hyun.
The drama has been selected for the On Screen section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival and has sold out all advance screening tickets, highlighting its significant anticipation.
