Former President Yoon Suk Yeol appeared for questioning by a special counsel team on Saturday regarding insurrection charges tied to his Dec. 3 martial law declaration. Yoon arrived at the Seoul High Prosecutors Office in southern Seoul at 9:56 a.m., two weeks after the initiation of the special counsel probe and just 85 days following his impeachment.
The formal questioning commenced at 10:14 a.m., marking the ousted president's first engagement with an investigative body in approximately five months, following his arrest and questioning by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials in January.
In addition to the insurrection charges related to the failed martial law attempt, Yoon faces allegations of instructing the Presidential Security Service to obstruct his arrest when the CIO sought to execute a warrant in January. He is also accused of directing the service to delete classified data concerning top military commanders after the martial law declaration.
Yoon arrived at the location in a black van, proceeding through the main entrance without responding to questions from reporters.

윤 전 대통령은 검은 밴을 타고 정문으로 들어와 무표정한 채로 기자들의 질문에 답하지 않고 입구로 걸어갔다.
