In a statement, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry called for strong leadership from the next administration to drive the country's economic rebound.
The business lobby highlighted several critical issues facing Korea, including low growth, declining birth rates, and the potential extinction of small towns. It emphasized the need for the president to utilize national capabilities to navigate the rapidly changing global environment characterized by rising protectionism and advancements in artificial intelligence.
Additionally, the Federation of Korean Industries has requested that Lee create a more business-friendly atmosphere to address escalating global trade uncertainties and sluggish domestic growth. The federation urged the new government to establish a pro-business environment that encourages innovation and challenges.
Both lobbies have underscored the importance of a coordinated approach to tackle these pressing economic issues effectively.

한국경영자총협회 또한 이 대통령에게 더 친기업적인 환경을 조성하여 글로벌 무역 불확실성 악화와 둔화되는 국내 성장에 대처할 것을 요구했다. “새로운 정부는 혁신과 도전의 정신을 육성하는 친기업 환경을 조성해야 한다”고 강조했다.
