BTS member RM has expressed a strong desire to return to the stage following his discharge from military service. On Tuesday morning, RM and fellow member V participated in a quiet discharge ceremony at Sinbuk Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, where they reflected on their service and shared their thoughts with fans and the press.
The venue was filled with excitement as global fans and media gathered early in the day. Fans contributed to the atmosphere with coffee trucks and large decorated buses. RM, dressed in uniform and holding a saxophone, entertained the crowd with a lively performance, creating a meaningful moment for his supporters.
In his remarks, RM acknowledged the challenges he faced during his service, stating, “To be honest, there were many hard and painful times. But I came to realize that there are so many people protecting the country in our place. It’s thanks to those who defend the nation on the front lines that we were able to continue our activities.” He also noted that his time in service allowed him to grow closer to his father and friends, describing it as a meaningful experience that fostered connections with fellow soldiers.
