Girl group BLACKPINK is set to return with a new song featuring all four members later this year, according to the head producer of the group's agency. The announcement was made by the founder and executive producer of YG Entertainment in a video posted on the company's official blog.
While a specific release date was not provided, this upcoming single will be the group's first release in two years and eight months, following their second full-length album, "Born Pink," which was released in September 2022. The only release since then has been "The Girls," an original soundtrack for a video game.
Additionally, BLACKPINK is scheduled to launch a new world tour titled "Deadline," with performances in Goyang, just northwest of Seoul, on July 5 and 6.
Yang also shared plans for other YG artists, including rookie girl group Babymonster, which will release a prerelease single titled "Hot Sauce" on July 1, followed by a second single in September and an EP on October 1. Yang described "Hot Sauce" as a "highly addictive hip-hop song with a late 1980s feel," expressing hopes that it will resonate with listeners.

블랙핑크는 7월 5일과 6일 고양에서 "Deadline"이라는 이름의 새로운 월드 투어를 시작할 예정이다. 양현석은 다른 YG 아티스트들의 발매 계획도 공유했다. 신인 걸 그룹 베이비몬스터는 7월 1일 프리릴리스 싱글 "Hot Sauce"를 발표할 예정이며, 이후 9월에 두 번째 싱글과 10월 1일 EP를 출시할 계획이다.
양현석은 "Hot Sauce"를 "1980년대 후반 느낌의 중독성 강한 힙합 노래"라고 설명하며, "여러분이 즐길 수 있기를 바라며 선물로 발매하는 것"이라고 말했다.
