PM vows to complete medical reform


Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, speaking at an event marking National Foundation Day, emphasized the importance of completing crucial medical reforms aimed at ensuring the well-being of the public and safeguarding future generations. Addressing the ongoing challenges posed by the resistance to the reform efforts, particularly by trainee doctors, Han reaffirmed the government's commitment to seeing through the necessary changes despite the obstacles faced. In addition to medical reform, Han also highlighted the government's strong determination to advance reforms in labor, pension, and education sectors. Regarding North Korea's recent provocative act of launching over 150 trash-filled balloons towards South Korea, Han expressed confidence in the cooperation between South Korea and the United States to handle such actions by North Korea with the strength of their alliance's deterrence capabilities.
