[Today’s K-pop] Stray Kids Hyunjin becomes face of Cartier


Hyunjin from Stray Kids has been selected as the new brand ambassador for luxury jeweler Cartier. He recently appeared on the cover of Esquire Korea's October issue, adorned in Cartier accessories. This announcement has caused quite a stir among his fans, as he becomes the first male idol from a "fourth-generation" band to represent two major brands, having previously worked with Versace. Additionally, the band Seventeen is set to release their 12th EP on October 14, coinciding with the launch of their world tour "Right Here." However, the promotional activities for the EP and the tour will feature only 11 members, as Junghan will be enlisting for national service and Jun will be focusing on his acting career in China. Meanwhile, former Iz*One member Hitomi is set to make her return to K-pop as part of the upcoming girl group Say My Name, after speculation about her return surfaced earlier this year. Finally, Lee Changsub of BTOB is set to make a solo comeback with his first studio album "1991" on October 2, marking his return as a solo artist after six years. The album's name is derived from Lee's birth year, hinting at a significant and confident musical expression.
