U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau participated in a closed-door roundtable with business leaders from Korea and the U.S. at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on Sunday. The event, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM), focused on strategies to enhance bilateral business cooperation.
During the discussions, U.S. business representatives emphasized the need for deregulation in Korea to attract more American companies to establish their regional headquarters in the country. Additionally, there were conversations regarding the expansion of the visa quota for employees of Korean firms sent to the U.S.
