Lee announced on the fan platform Bubble that he had already voted during early voting, stating, “I voted on the first day of early voting because I have a filming schedule on Election Day.” He noted the convenience of early voting, mentioning shorter lines.
In response to voter apathy, he shared his belief that voting is essential to prevent unfavorable outcomes. “I often hear people say there’s no one worth voting for, but I believe voting is a way to prevent the worst,” he explained. He advised that if there are no ideal candidates, voters should choose the next best option or at least the lesser evil.
