The Korean baseball league announced on Sunday that it has surpassed 4 million in regular-season attendance, achieving this milestone at a record-setting pace. The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) reported that attendance for the 2025 season reached 4,006,296 after 230 games.
The previous record for the fewest games to reach 4 million was 255 games, set during the 2012 season. This year, the KBO hit the 1 million, 2 million, and 3 million attendance marks in record times of 60, 118, and 175 games, respectively. The league increased its attendance from 3 million to 4 million in just 55 games, breaking the previous record by 10 games.
As of Sunday, the KBO is averaging 17,419 fans per game, which is a 20 percent increase from the previous season when the league set a single-season record with 10.88 million fans.
The Samsung Lions are leading the 10-team league with 616,310 fans so far, followed by the LG Twins with 547,570 fans and the Doosan Bears with 464,237. These three teams are the only ones averaging over 20,000 fans per game, with the Lions averaging 22,011, the Twins averaging 21,903, and the Bears averaging 20,184.
The Lions play at the 24,000-seat Daegu Samsung Lions Park.

현재 삼성 라이온즈가 616,310명으로 10개 팀 중 1위를 차지하고 있으며, 이어서 서울에 위치한 LG 트윈스가 547,570명, 두산 베어스가 464,237명의 관중을 기록했다. 이 세 팀은 경기당 20,000명 이상의 관중을 기록한 유일한 팀들로, 라이온즈는 22,011명, 트윈스는 21,903명, 베어스는 20,184명을 기록하고 있다.
삼성 라이온즈는 24,000석 규모의 대구 삼성드림구장에서 경기를 치르고 있다.
