The 2025 World Korean Business Convention concluded in Atlanta, Georgia, attracting significant interest from industry insiders eager to explore business opportunities with Korean-run companies. The event took place from Thursday to Sunday at the Gas South Convention Center.
Hosted by the Overseas Koreans Agency (OKA) and the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA, the four-day event also received sponsorship from the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KBIZ) and a local business daily. Established in 2002, the convention aims to promote business opportunities and networking between domestic and overseas Korean businesses.
According to a press release from OKA, this year's convention focused on fostering a supply chain that connects production, consumption, investment, and workforces among Korean businesses and diaspora communities. During the opening ceremony on Thursday, a congratulatory address was delivered by SMEs and Startups Minister Oh Young-ju, on behalf of Prime Minister Duck-soo.
