Controversial pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church is facing significant backlash following the release of video footage that shows him instructing physical punishment for church members who did not meet attendance quotas for a weekend far-right rally.
In the video, Jeon also made vulgar remarks directed at his congregation, further igniting outrage. During a gathering at Sarang Jeil Church, he called regional church leaders to the front of the sanctuary and demanded reports on the number of individuals they had mobilized for the political event.
A video posted on his YouTube channel, Jeon Kwang-hoon TV, captures him shouting, “If you brought 100 percent of your assigned number, go sit down. The rest, line up — heads down, go!” Following his command, approximately a dozen church members assumed a prone position with their hands behind their backs, a stance associated with a severe military-style punishment known in Korea as “Wonsan bombing.”
Jeon continued to berate the members, stating, “How long are you going to stay down like that? All night if you have to! Why? Because you’re the reason this country is falling apart.” The punishment reportedly concluded only after a significant amount of time had passed.

전 목사는 교회 회중을 향해 음란한 발언을 하며 분노를 일으켰다. 목요일, 사랑제일교회에서 열린 모임에서 그는 지역 교회 리더들을 제단 앞으로 불러모아 정치적 집회를 위해 얼마나 많은 인원을 동원했는지 보고하라고 요구했다.
그의 유튜브 채널인 전광훈TV에 게시된 영상에서는 전 목사가 "할당된 인원의 100%를 데려온 사람은 앉아 있어라. 나머지는 줄 서 - 머리 숙이고, 가!"라고 외치는 장면이 담겨 있다.
그의 지시에 따라 약 10명의 교인들은 두 손을 뒤로 한 채 엎드리는 자세를 취했다. 이 자세는 한국에서 “원산 폭격”으로 알려진 군사 스타일의 가혹한 처벌과 관련이 있다.
전 목사는 그들을 꾸짖으며 "얼마나 더 그렇게 누워 있을 거야? 필요하면 밤새도록! 왜? 너희들이 이 나라가 망하는 이유기 때문에."라고 외쳤다.
처벌은 한 교인이 쑥쓰러운 모습으로 나가면서 끝났다.
